Good evening all and thank you all for your efforts on Day 1 of our Harbor Hills Challenge. We look forward to an exciting final day of play tomorrow. Once again play will commence at 11.30 am from Tee 1. Local Rules are as today and once again all official scoring will be via the CJGT app. Player tee times are shown below and shortly they will be updated in the CJGT scoring app.

Unfortunately for our youngest players, those in the 12 and under Turnberry Flight of girls and boys, before they could all complete 18 holes it was necessary to halt play due to persistent lightning strikes close by. As a result it has been decided that we will only count the first 9 holes each of them played and, assuming we can complete 18 holes tomorrow, their tournament will now be 27 holes in length. This ONLY affects those players in our Turnberry flight as all other players completed 18 holes today.

AWARDS: All awards and prizes will be presented on Sunday following play. All players have been grouped into age-based player flights and a CJGT winner’s medal will be presented to the lowest scoring player only in each flight. In addition to flight winner medals following play on Sunday we will make up to 3 additional special player awards of an *FSGA/FJT STEP Exemption Award to guarantee entry into your choice of an FJT Tournament in the next 12 months. We have FJT STEP Awards available for our lowest scoring MALE player in the 16+ Age Group (St Andrews Flight) and the lowest scoring MALE between the age of 13/15 (Troon and Carnoustie Flights combined) In addition we have an award available for lowest scoring FEMALE player in our 14/16’s (Muirfield Flight). If necessary, in the event of a tied score in any player flight, extra hole play-offs will be used to decide a winner. The number of holes will be advised prior to the play-off commencing. If after the agreed number has been reached players are still all square the play off will be decided on the putting green area.

As each age-based flight group finishes on Sunday we will conduct prize award presentations in the registration area, Please show good sportsmanship and support the medal winners at the presentation of the flight you are competing in IF you are able to stay and do so.
