Below this message you will find individual player tee times, pairings, yardages and player flight/group info for Day 2, our final day of this competition. Our first tee time tomorrow will again be 12.00 Pm and all play will start on Hole 1. It’s extremely important that ALL players are at the tee and ready to play 10 minutes before your tee time for player introductions and a short local rule briefing.

This tournament is an 36-hole stroke play event which will be ranked by iWanamaker rankings and Junior Golf Scoreboard. For more information relating to Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings please click HERE and scroll down to section 9.

REGISTRATION: On arrival on Sunday please check in once again with Fiona at our Claret Tour Registration area which is situated adjacent to the practice area. Registration will be open from 10.30 am.

SCORING: It is a requirement that ALL players official tournament scoring is recorded by you using the CJGT online scoring app. All official scoring for this tournament must be input into the app on a hole-by-hole basis.

We will also request that you keep and complete a paper scorecard. The paper card is useful as a backup only and to do a double check of scores if any discrepancies are found in the app however ONLY the scores you enter into the app, verified as accurate, by player and scorer will be accepted. Any player who leaves the venue before providing agreement of the accuracy of his/her score will be withdrawn from this tournament.

NEAREST the PIN: As an additional fun and competitive element at our tournaments we offer a Nearest the Pin Competition open to all players. We will offer a gift card prize from our sponsor, Edwin Watts Golf, for the player closest to the pin on Saturday and again on Sunday. We will provide a marker stake alongside the green. If you are close, check the sheet on the stake for earlier players measurements. If you think you are closer measure the distance from middle of the hole to the center of your ball using the tape provided. Always measure with the help of at least one other player in your group. If your ball is closest write your name and measurement. The measurement should be in feet/inches. Tomorrow the hole used for the competition will be number 16.

AWARDS: All tournament awards will be presented following play tomorrow. We will present awards as player flights finish in order to have you all heading for home as soon as possible.A CJGT winner’s medal will be presented to the lowest scoring player in each flight group only. Awards will be made as each age-based flight finishes in order to get everyone heading for home as soon as we can following play.

In addition to flight winner medals, we may also make special player award(s) to qualifying players of an FSGA/FJT STEP Exemption Award for use in your choice of an FJT Tournament in the next 12 months. Please read our important T&C’s and requirements to be a qualifying player for FJT STEP EXEMPTION AWARDS by clicking HERE   (Section 8) Please note that FJT Awards are only available to current Annual Membership players of Claret Junior Tour prior to tournament beginning. Following final day play and, in the event of a tied score in any player flight, extra hole play-offs will be used to decide a winner. The number of holes will be advised prior to the play-off commencing. If after the agreed number has been reached players are still tied the play off will be decided on the putting green area. As each flight group finishes, we will conduct award/medal presentations by the main scoreboard area.
