What a weekend of junior golf as our talented group of young players, aged from 10/17, played out 36 holes of championship golf in our second year of playing The Claret Tour Lopez Legacy Junior Challenge at the exceptional Nancy Lopez Legacy Golf and Country Club in The Villages, Florida.
A strong field of junior players, a great golf course and some challenging and windy conditions made this one of our most exciting 36 hole tournaments so far this year!
Thank you to all of the players who attended and put on a great battling display for the many attending spectators and watching families. Every one of you, regardless of final placing, should be very proud of yourself for getting out there and showing the very best of your character and spirit in the toughest of personal sports there is!
Going into the Final Round on Sunday the top spot in each of our 4 age based player groups was still open and up for grabs. It would be late in the day before each of our groups would be settled and prizes awarded.
Below you can meet ALL of our participants for this one and our lowest scorers in each age group. Congratulations to you all from everyone at The Claret Junior Tour.
