A message to our Wee Highlander players and parents,
Thank you for registering to join us for this first Wee Highlander Tour Competition. We are very much looking forward to a fun day of Junior Golf at Eagle Ridge GC in Summerfield, FL.
The Champions course will be laid out specifically to suit these younger players to ensure they can fully enjoy the experience of competing in a suitable environment which is based in their age and abilities. Course will be 1347 yards in total.
Weather for golf looks great tomorrow with no more than a breeze or two to worry about! Please plan to arrive in good time to allow players an unhurried warm up. Range balls will be provided for all players.
Please check in with Highlander Tour staff on arrival. Our registration desk will be located by the ProShop and manned by Fiona. Scorecards can be collected from there.
Carts can be rented from the ProShop for this event at a cost of $10 per cart. Please tell staff you are renting a cart for the Wee Highlander 6 hole event to receive this special rate. Please note that the ProShop may allocate rental carts based on tee times due to numbers available in order to ensure they can meet demand.
Players can ride carts with parents and if required parent can caddy for their player. We require that parents will assist us in ensuring kids keep moving along at a healthy golfing pace when on the course as there will be play taking place behind us.
Please bear in mind that the safety of all of our participants and spectators is our priority. We ask that everyone is mindful and you follow the necessary social distancing measures in place at the venue at all times.Please bring hand wash and water for personal use as most courses no longer have water available on the course.
Following 6 holes of play we will have a brief (social distancing style) medal presentation for our first Wee Highlander winner by the clubhouse.
