Good evening everyone and thank you for your player registration for our Inaugural New Year’s Eve FUNdraiser Team Scramble event at Harbor Hills Country Club in Lady Lake, Fl.

Tee times for all players are listed below this important info.

As you know this is NOT a regular junior tournament event. This is very much a FUN day of golf where most teams participating in this Scramble Event will be made up of a mix of junior players and adult players. Tee times will begin at 9.37 am. On arrival at Harbor Hills CC please head to the marked “Golfer Registration” area just beside the ProShop and register your arrival with Fiona. Registration will be open from 8.30 am. Fiona will confirm your tee time. Please note that in the clubhouse area you will have an opportunity to check out the impressive list of items that have been donated to us for sale by silent auction. There are also opportunities to purchase raffle tickets for some great prizes that will be on display (raffle tickets are $5 for 4 or $10 for 10)

You may also wish to consider purchasing a couple of “Mulligans” too at $5 each (Max 2 per player)

Please do not take a golf cart until you have checked in first. Occasionally at this venue we have to issue golf carts in tee time order. If this is necessary, we will advise you on arrival. A shared golf cart is included in the entry fee price of $40 per player.

At all Claret Junior Tour events players can choose to ride or walk while competing.  Players choosing to walk will be reminded that pace of play is critical to any successful tournament and all players should therefore play as briskly and efficiently as possible.

Note to Spectators: Please note that spectator carts, where available, should be requested only after players have received carts. Spectator cart fees should be paid directly to Harbor Hills in the ProShop.

Range balls will be out and available for players warm up. The practice range is to the right side of the first tee. Please make your way to the 1st tee no later than 10 minutes before your tee time to allow for a short local rule briefing and introduction to your playing partner(s)ALL player scoring on saturday will be recorded on paper scorecards which will be issued at check in.

Please note that the weather forecast for Saturday suggests good conditions and a slight possibility of some rain late in the afternoon however please bear in mind that conditions can change quickly and come prepared. Please bring water and snacks for on-course. It is important that you stay hydrated and energized to be in a position to play your best possible golf.

Saturday’s event will have 84 players participating. It will be busy and we hope you will have fun out there. As well as opportunities to win a prize for nearest the pin there will be a special nearest the pin played using authentic century old hickory wooden shafted golf clubs and, assuming they haven’t all been lost by the time you get there, period style one piece “gutty” golf balls! There will also be an entertaining trick shot golfer on number 6 too!

Following play we will present prizes and awards. The Claret Tour Team Scramble Winners will receive a trophy. We do always try to keep these award recognition ceremonies as brief as we can as we know many of you have travelled some way to be at our event but we, and our players, do very much appreciate when fellow players and parents wait for a short time after play, take the time to attend, and show your support if it’s possible to do so.
