We played out an exciting first day of our Harbor Hills CC Challenge Tournament today under blue skies and warm sunshine, a welcome change from last month’s wet and stormy conditions!

As usual HH played tougher on the back nine than the front for most of our players but, despite some challenging greens, we watched some exceptional golf being played by many of you and NO shortage of effort and commitment from everyone!  Lowest score of Day 1 overall was Aiden Skrocki (The Villages HS) from our 13/15 Carnoustie Boys Flight with an impressive -2(70) which represented his lowest tournament score to date, good job Aiden!

Let’s hope for an equally exciting day tomorrow! Please remember this is the tournament halfway stage and nothing has been decided yet SO, regardless of score today, tomorrow gives EVERY player in the field something to play for! You may be in contention for an award or simply focusing on improving your score from today, whatever your target is all we ask is you go out, give 100% of effort and enjoy the sport to the MAX!
