Thank you for your player entry for our upcoming tournament on April 18-19 at Royal St Cloud Golf Club in St. Cloud, Florida. This 36 Hole, Nationally ranked tournament will attract player rankings points from iWanamaker rankings, Junior Golf Scoreboard and Junior Golf Hub (Click HERE and read Section 9a and 9b for our T&C’s relating to player rankings) FJT (Florida Junior Tour, operated by FSGA) STEP Exemption Awards are also available to lowest scoring qualifying players, who must hold a current annual membership of the tour, in this tournament.

TEE TIMES and PAIRINGS: We will begin play on each day at 11.30 AM. All player tee times will be communicated to you by email on the morning of Friday 17th April. Please note these will be sent to the email address you supplied to us on youir registration form. If you wish to amend this email or add another please send it to us at info@claretjuniortour.com

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Are available to participating players at a cost of $25 plus tax by contacting the venue direct on (407) 891-7010. Please advise you are a junior golfer playing in this tournament. Staff will advise availability. IMPORTANT – Please note there are 3 x9 hole layouts at this venue. On both days of play we will begin on RED course and finish on WHITE course. Please request this routing when booking any practice round.

TEE BOX YARDAGES: The following tee box (approx.) yardages will apply for this tournament.

BOYS 16/18 – BLACK 7014 YDS

BOYS 13/15 – GOLD 6426 YDS

BOYS 11/12 – COPPER 5091 YDS

GIRLS 14/17 – SILVER 5895 YDS

 

  • Please note if a player wishes to play a longer yardage than allocated please make request to us at least 24 hours in advance of tournament beginning.

IMPORTANT NOTE – USE OF CARTS:

At many of our tournaments players ARE permitted to use golf carts which can only be driven by players aged 16 and above who hold a valid license. If a cart is to be used by younger players it MUST be driven by a valid license holder ie, parent, coach etc. At this venue the cost of cart rental has been included. 

Please note that due to the number of players we expect to attend, and other play taking place at the venue, it is highly unlikely that there will be additional carts available for spectators use. If they do have any additional carts they will only be made available to spectators AFTER all players have been allocated their cart.

The use of carts is NOT mandatory. Players do still have the option of walking at this tournament. If you choose this option it is important that the required pace of play is maintained at all times. We will monitor pace of play and if necessary, following two warnings, slow players will be penalized by additional penalty strokes. 

CADDIES:

Please note caddies are permitted at our tour events only for players aged 15 or less. Caddies for aged 16+ players are not permissible at any of our tournaments. Caddies must observe USGA caddie rules at all times and pace of play MUST be observed. Player coaching of any kind is strictly prohibited at all times during tournament play.   

IMPORTANT SCORING NOTES:

Official scoring for this tournament will only be accepted by inputting scores into our dedicated online scoring app, which can be downloaded from your phone’s app store, by searching for CJGT. Please download the CJGT app and register, AS A PLAYER, in advance of your arrival at the tournament. If you have any issues doing so you must identify these to us before the tournament date as we are often unable to immediately resolve app admin issues on the day of play. Before play we will also request that you keep a personal paper scorecard record which can be used as a reference/backup should any discrepancies or errors be made in the app. 

If using the CJGT scoring app for the first time, you will first have to register by inputting your details in the app. Please only do so by USING THE PLAYERS NAME and confirm that you are registering a JUNIOR GOLFER/PLAYER when asked. It’s important that you do NOT register as a Parent or Spectator as doing so will immediately lock you, and your Junior Golfer, out of the ability to add scores! Once registered you can then search for this tournament in the Find an Event section.

At tournament, scoring via the CJGT app is a simple process and we can demonstrate this prior to play. Players, please bear in mind that YOUR score on each hole is always YOUR responsibility and this applies even when you are not the person within your group who is inputting it to the app. We always request that you double check it has been entered correctly before you finalize it following play each day.If you do notice ANY discrepancy, please bring it to our attention immediately.
