Good afternoon everyone,

We have another fine day of junior golf in prospect tomorrow at Ocala GC. We will commence play at 12.00 and all play will be from Tee number 1. Below this message you will find individual tee times, pairings, yardages and flight info for tomorrow’s competition.

On arrival at Ocala GC please check in with Fiona at our Golfer Registration Desk. Cart rentals for players and spectators are available from the ProShop at a rate of $10 plus tax. Please advise staff you are with Claret Jug Junior Tour.

Range balls are included and we will advise on arrival if they are already laid out at the practice area or if the ProShop are issuing them directly to each player.

Once again we will adding a little additional excitement and fun by operating a nearest-the-pin competition, sponsored by our good friends at Edwin Watts Golf, with a $25 gift card voucher prize for the winner. We will advise which par-3 hole this applies to prior to play tomorrow and it will be loaded into the scoring app as a seperate contest.

Please note caddies are allowed at all of our tournament events. Caddies MUST comply with USGA caddie rules and pace of play MUST be observed. If your group falls behind play we will request you play “Ready Golf” in order to keep pace with the group in front. Electronic devices to assist with yardages are also acceptable for use at this competition.

This 18-hole competition will be ranked by GJGR. (Global Junior Golf Rankings) and scoring will be via the Iwanamaker online scoring app which can be downloaded from your online app store by searching for iWanamaker golf. You will find that the player tee times as shown below are loaded into the app already. Please note this app is NOT the same app we used in 2021. When you search for it in the app store it looks like this:

If you are using this app for the first time you MUST register using the players name only. Access will not be granted into the app if you register using any other name. All scoring for this tournament will only be accepted via the online app. Once you have registered in the app you can then search for tomorrow’s competition where you will find the full list of players and tee times pre-loaded.

It IS advisable that you should also maintain your own paper scorecard record as this can help following play in the event that any errors are reported identified in the app.

Please make your way to the 1st tee at least 10 minutes before play where we will provide a short briefing to players on any local rules that may apply to this competition.

As we have a relatively small field tomorrow it should not take too long to agree and compile scores and conduct brief medal presentations. We always try to conduct these presentations as quickly as we can to ensure you are not waiting around too much but we, and our players, do always appreciate your support by attending if you possibly can.
