Thank you for your player entry for this Weekend’s 36 Hole Junior Stroke Play Challenge Tournament at Providence GC (September 19-20, 2026) This tournament will be ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard, iWanamaker Player Rankings and Junior Golf Hub. Venue website and scorecard are available by clicking on the link above. Tournament start time for this weekend will be 10.30AM on both days of play and all play will start on Hole 1. Individual player tee times and pairings are shown below for tomorrow’s first round of play and our dedicated scoring app (CJGT) has also been updated to show these tee times for tomorrow’s round. Sunday tee times will be issued to you on Saturday evening and pairings will be made based on Day 1 scores. 

PLAYER REGISTRATION/CHECK IN 

Please note ALL PLAYERS must register on arrival on BOTH DAYS at the Player Registration Area which will be located on the external patio area by the ProShop. Registration, and the practice/warm up facilities will be open from 10.00 AM. When you check in you will be issued with tournament rules information and scoring procedure information. We will also request a contact number where you can be reached during tournament play. We will contact you on the number provided, in the event that you request a ruling via the CJGT app, or if it becomes necessary to halt play due to adverse weather conditions. ALL players should arrive at the 1st tee no later than 10 minutes before their tee time for local rules briefing and introductions. Any player arriving at the tee who hasn’t checked in at Golfer Registration will be sent back to do so. Please be aware that a late arrival to the 1st tee incurs a 2-stroke penalty.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE – TOURNAMENT SCORING. ALL PLAYERS MUST READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING.

Official player scoring at ALL tournaments is only accepted when input by each player into our dedicated online scoring app following the conclusion of each hole. If you have not done so already, please download the app named CJGT from your app store to your phone in advance of this tournament and ensure you have registered correctly. If downloading for the first time you must complete a one-time only player registration. Please note you are registering a JUNIOR GOLFER. If you are a parent registering on behalf of your junior golfer, please click on the correct option box when asked if you are a JUNIOR GOLFER or PARENT/SPECTATOR. Incorrectly registering your player will lock him/her out of tournament scoring. The app looks like the example below.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY – Any registered player who arrives to tournament who has not registered in the CJGT app in advance, and who has not advised us of any issue in doing so, will NOT have their tournament score counted. ALL players should open up the app and ensure you have scoring access and your details are displayed correctly ie. Name is spelt correctly etc. and advise if any changes are necessary. Do not wait to check this until you arrive at the venue as we are unable to resolve issues at that time due to iWanamaker Support team’s limited availability at weekends.

ADVERSE WEATHER PLANS

As we are all aware, in Florida, at this time of year, the weather can be VERY unpredictable! Please check the forecast before you arrive at the venue and be as prepared as you possibly can. Please be assured that player safety is always our priority and, if it becomes necessary at any of our tournaments, to shelter in place or return to the clubhouse, we will immediately advise your group by text and by sounding one long blast of the air horn to stop play. Should this be necessary please observe this safety request immediately. A failure by any player to stop play after being advised to do so will result in immediate disqualification from this tournament. Please note during any enforced delay practice is NOT permitted on course or from any designated practice facility. 

IMPORTANT NOTE – CART USE

At this tournament players are permitted to use carts and a cart will be allocated to you. Please note it may be necessary for players aged 16 and above to cart share with another player in your group. Carts can only be driven by players 16 and above who MUST be in possession of a valid license. If cart is being used by younger players or player with no drivers license it can be driven by a parent or coach. The use of carts is NOT a requirement and players have the option of walking at this tournament if they prefer to do so. At this venue there MAY not be additional spectator carts available however, if any do become available on the day, they will only be made available to spectators AFTER all players have been allocated carts. 

IMPORTANT NOTE – CADDIES

Please note caddies are only permitted at our tour events for players aged 15 or younger. Caddies for aged 16+ players are not permissible at any of our tournaments. Caddies must observe USGA caddie rules at all times and pace of play MUST be observed. If you are planning on caddying for your junior player, please remember your primary function is to be encouraging and supportive, offer practical course information and advice. Under no circumstances will player coaching be permitted. Coaching is generally defined as providing instruction and analysis on a player’s game/skills.

TOURNAMENT AWARDS 

Tournament awards will be presented after play on Sunday. All players have been grouped into age-based player flights and a CJGT medal award and a recognition trophy will be presented to the lowest scoring player in each flight group only. In addition we may also make up to 3 player award(s), to qualifying players only, of an FSGA/FJT STEP Exemption Award for use in your choice of an FJT Tournament in the next 12 months.
