Thank you for your player entry for our upcoming 36-Hole Two Course Challenge Tournament taking place on March21-22 at the renowned Mission Inn Resort in Howey in the Hills. Mission Inn is Florida’s most historic venue and hosts numerous Professional and Amateur tournament events each year. It is also, for the 15th year running, this year’s host venue for the FHSAA (Florida High School) State Championships later in the year.
Please note we will email your individual tee time, pairings and player flight group information to you early on Friday morning (20th March) to the email address you used to register. Our scoring app (CJGT) will also be updated at that time.
On our first day of play (Saturday March 21st) we will play the El Campeon Course and all play will begin from Tee 1. First tee time will be 11.30 AM. On Sunday our final round will be played on the Las Colinas Course and tee times once again will begin at 11.30AM. This tournament is a 36-hole stroke play event which will award National Ranking Points by Junior Golf Scoreboard, Junior Golf Hub and iWanamaker Rankings. PRACTICE ROUNDS: Player(s) who wish to play a practice round on any of the courses can arrange to do so by booking via their website HERE or by calling the venue direct on 352 324-3885. for best rate and availability. BOYS 16/18 – Blue @ 6700
BOYS 13/15 – Historic @ 6200
GIRLS 16/18 – Challenger @ 6000
GIRLS 13/15 – Gold @ 5500
BOYS 11’s – Gold @ 5500
BOYS 10’s – RED @ 5000 (amended)
GOLF CARTS: On tournament days a rental cart has been included in the entry fee cost you submitted. Players aged 16 and over with a drivers licence can drive the cart. Younger players and those without a licence can be driven by a parent or accompanying adult. IMPORTANT NOTE: We have been advised that NO additional rental carts will be available for spectators only. Walking spectators are welcome.
CADDIES: Please note caddies are permitted at our tour events only for players aged 15 or less. Caddies for aged 16+ players are not permissible at any of our tournaments. Caddies must observe USGA caddie rules at all times and pace of play MUST be observed.
SCORING: It is a requirement of entry at our tournaments that ALL official tournament scoring is recorded by you using the CJGT online scoring app. If you are attending your first CJT event, you must download the app by searching for CJGT in your app store. You will be required to submit a one-time only simple registration and for this you will need an email address. If you are a parent registering on behalf of your player please ensure you register as a junior golfer and in player’s name.NOT your own name. If you register as a parent or spectator this will lock your player out of the ability to score and take you to a payment page for viewing scores only. Only players registered correctly as junior golfers have full FREE access to the scoring app and it is therefore extremely important that you register as a player. Please note that failure to download the app and register correctly as a junior player will mean your tournament score cannot be counted in this tournament. Any questions or issues registering in the CJGT should be notified to us in advance and not on day of tournament.
Once you have the app, and you are registered correctly, you can then search for the tournament. All official scoring for this tournament must be input into the app on a hole-by-hole basis. Once player tee times are loaded on Friday you will be able to view them in the app. Sunday pairings will be loaded on Saturday evening following conclusion of Day 1 play and an email sent to you when loaded.
