The Phillips Toyota Junior Championship 2025
On the weekend of April 12-13, 2025 we will once again make our way to the exceptional Glenview Champions Country Club in The Villages for the 3rd year of playing this exciting Junior Championship Tournament, named in recognition of our wonderful and supportive sponsor, Phillips Toyota. Following our meeting today with the venue management we can now provide you with the course rotation schedule for this tournament. Please note that there are 3 x 9 Hole championship courses at Glenview Champions (Talley Ho, Fox Run and Stirrup Cup) and our rotation will have us playing all 3 of them. Our rotation is as follows:
Saturday April 12th – Talley Ho to Fox Run (1st tee time 11.56AM all play from Tee 1)
Sunday April 13th – Fox Run to Stirrup Cup (1st tee time 11.56AM all play from Tee 1)
Practice Rounds Procedure – Please call the venue direct on the day you wish to play (352) 753-3345 and advise you are a junior golfer playing in this tournament. Staff will advise availability and cost. Please note this is a very busy time for this venue and best rates are usually after 3pm. If you need assistance at the venue our contact is Steve Hanson.
Tournament Yardages/ Tee Box – The following tee box colors will be allocated to players based on age:
Boys 16+ BLACK TEES
Boys 13/15 – GOLD TEES
Girls 16+ – BLUE/WHITE TEES (Par 5’s only play WHITE)
Girls 13’s – WHITE TEES
Girls 10/12 – GREEN TEES
Boys 9’s – GREEN TEES
Individual Player Tee Times – A link with your Day 1 tee time, pairings and your player flight group will be emailed to you to the email used when you completed registration on the morning of Friday 11th April. Please contact us immediately if for any reason you do not receive.
Tournament Scoring App Download – Our dedicated scoring app (CJGT) is the ONLY method we use to collect official tournament scores. It is a condition of our tournaments that you agree to download it in advance, complete a simple one-time only registration, as an attending player, and be ready to begin scoring BEFORE play begins.
