Thank you for your player registration for this weekend’s tournament event at Glenview Champions Country Club, we look forward to welcoming you to this Nationally Ranked tournament, the second event of our 2026 Season.

Please note that there are 3 x 9-hole Championship Courses at Glenview Champions (Talley Ho, Fox Run and Stirrup Cup) and our rotation will have us playing all 3 of them. Our rotation is as follows:

Saturday January 24th – Talley Ho to Fox Run (1st tee time 11.56AM all play from Tee 1)

Sunday January 25th – Fox Run to Stirrup Cup (1st tee time 11.56AM all play from Tee 1)

TEE TIMES and PAIRINGS:

Day 1 pairings are shown below and are now loaded into the CJGT app. We will begin play on each day at 11.56 AM and all play will begin from Tee 1. Sunday tee times and pairings will be emailed to you on Saturday Evening following the conclusion of Day 1 play.

PLAYER REGISTRATION:

On arrival, please check in at our signposted registration area by the ProShop lower level entrance where we will confirm your individual tee time with you and advise of any changes. We will also issue you with a brief rule and scoring information sheet and confirm we have an on-course contact number for you. Registration will be open from 09.45AM and the tournament practice/warm up area will be open from 10am. We ask that you make your way to the first tee at least 10 minutes before your tee time for introductions and a short local rule briefing. 

IMPORTANT NOTE – CART USE

At most of our tournaments players ARE permitted to use golf carts which can only be driven by players aged 16 and above who hold a valid license. If a cart used by younger players it MUST be driven by a valid license holder ie, parent, coach etc. At this venue the cost of cart rental has not been included and payment should be made in the ProShop AFTER You have registered with us. Cart Rental cost is $25 plus sales tax.

Due to the number of players we expect to require carts the venue cannot guarantee that additional carts will be available for spectators. If they have any additional carts they will only be made available to spectators AFTER all players have been allocated their cart.

The use of carts is NOT mandatory. Players do still have the option of walking at this tournament. If you choose this option it is EXTREMELY important that the required pace of play is maintained at all times. We will monitor pace of play and if necessary, following two warnings, slow players will be penalized by additional penalty strokes. 

CADDIES:

Please note caddies are permitted at our tour events only for players aged 15 or less. Caddies for aged 16+ players are not permissible at any of our tournaments. Caddies must observe USGA caddie rules at all times and pace of play MUST be observed.

VERY IMPORTANT – TOURNAMENT SCORING, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Official player scoring at ALL tournaments is only accepted when input, by each player, into our dedicated online scoring app following the conclusion of each hole. If you have not done so already please download the app named CJGT from your app store to your phone in advance of this tournament and ensure you have registered correctly. If downloading for the first time you must complete a one-time only simple registration. Please note you are registering a JUNIOR GOLFER. If you are a parent registering on behalf of your junior golfer please click on the correct option box when asked if you are a JUNIOR GOLFER or PARENT/SPECTATOR. Incorrectly registering your player will lock him/her out of tournament scoring and his/her score may not be counted for this tournament. The app looks like the example below.

Once registered you can then search for the tournament which has already been populated with players tee times. Please check the app is showing your player name and tee time correctly and the HOME page of the app gives you access to scoring. The example below is how the page will look. If you cannot see the “Score Round” featured you will NOT be able to score using the app and your tournament score may not be included. It is therefore extremely important that you contact us immediately to assist. If any player in the field has no access to a phone please let us know in advance. Unfortunately, it’s not always possible to resolve any app scoring issues on the day of tournament so please contact us today if you have issues to resolve. Most issues we deal with are as a result of incorrect registration and can be resolved quickly when you advise us in advance. If you don’t see  “Score Round” listed on the home page and you have registered as a Junior Golfer first check your log in details and email used are correct before contacting us. 

NEAREST the PIN COMPETITIONS:

As an additional exciting and fun element, we will also be operating a nearest-the-pin competition tomorrow and on Sunday, sponsored by PGA Tour Superstore, for all players, with a $25 gift card prize each day for the player who hits closest to the pin. We will provide more information to you on the tee.

WEATHER SAFETY PROCEDURE:

Please be assured player safety is always our priority and, if it becomes necessary at any of our tournaments to stop play, shelter on course or return to the clubhouse, we will immediately advise you by text message and by one long blast of air horn. Please consult the forecast prior to play and ensure you are prepared, as much as possible, for fast-changing weather conditions. ALWAYS bring plenty of water and snacks and stay hydrated at all times.

PLAYER AWARDS SUMMARY:

On Sunday following play we will have a brief awards presentation ceremony. We always try to conduct these presentations as quickly as we can to ensure you are not waiting around too much. If you can attend, we do always appreciate your sportsmanship and support of your fellow players. A Claret Tour Award will be made to each of our lowest scoring Flight Winners. We will also award an FJT STEP Exemption Award to the player flight winner in each of the following groups: Girls-(13-17), Boys (13/15) and Boys (16+).  Please note that some conditions do apply to the award of FSGA/STEP Exemption Awards, see below.

FSGA/FJT STEP EXEMPTION AWARDS:

Only players holding current Annual Membership player status of The Claret Tour, PRIOR to the beginning of this tournament, and current 2026 Scholarship players will be eligible to receive FJT Step Exemption Awards. These awards will only be made if the winning player scores a+16 or less after 36 holes are complete.  Please note that STEP Exemptions will be limited to no more than two awards per individual player in each 3-month period of 2026. PLAYER RANKING POINTS:

This is a Nationally Ranked Tournament. Ranking points will be allocated by Junior Golf Scoreboard, Junior Golf Hub and iWanamaker Player Rankings.
